Check out this well done video Honda put out covering the basic ownership and maintenance aspects of your Aquatrax. It should answer many questions.

.....oil light coming on randomly and fail safe mode or just killing the ski all together. need help no honda certified mechanics anywhere.

Sounds like fuel injector cleaning time to me...
have you flipped this ski?
Have you checked the oil, does it look like chocolate milk at all?
Are you running HIGH Octane fuel?
You may have contaminated fuel tank or fuel...
Sounds fuel/sensor/oil related....

flipped it a few, yes good fuel, oil changed every 50hrs, oil good now, replaced high and low pressure sensors. 270hrs. 2003 f12 aquatrax. no turbo. had to replace the entire wiring harness last year because of corrosion. was sending bad signal and setting off fail safe mode or whatever you call it. ....stoked on the help you guys.
___________
Oh...ok...well then tell us how many hours are on the ski?
Turbo model?
What year and what model...

If the high oil pressure switch detects an engine oil pressure below 216 kPa (2.2 kg/cm2, 31 psi), the ECM lights the oil
pressure warning light and limits the engine speed to 3,000 rpm to prevent the engine damage. However, if the low oil pressure switch detects an engine oil pressure below 20 kPa (0.2, kg/cm2, 3 psi), the fail-safe function stops the engine.

we ran the ski 2-3 hrs the other day before the 3000rpm fail safe mode came on. then we called it a day but the other day it fail safed on me once so i un pluged the low pressure switch and we were fine for a n hour or so before it then would just shut off . i would let the ski sit for a few then we could make it back out and to the harber no problem. rince the ski hi rpm's no problems???

Have you checked the 'level' of oil? Too much oil is not good...the sensors can go off...you could be building too much oil pressure in front of your oil filter. This opens a pressure relief valve allowing oil to re-route through it, instead of heading to the oil filter. The low pressure sensor measures pressure on the output side of the oil pump, in FRONT of the oil filter. (High pressure is measure on the output side of the oil filter fyi only.) Oil Pump output normally passes by ths low pressure sensor which is measuring for pressure loss on this line, and you have it. You don't have enough oil getting to the oil filter.
(if your oil level is high this could explain why the oil could be high in the sump but I'm telling you disregard and measure at the butt, or outright drain the Honda when it's cold to confirm what you have.)

check the starter solenoid bolts (per honda bulliten) check the battery terminals....The high pressure oil switch is grounded when triggered Normally open when not....use a ohm meter to check, the harness would have a short somewhere if the switch checks good
The Low pressure switch triggers the ECU so same thing but ohm out the harness at the ECU. replace as necessary
