Ben training in the K38 Open Water Rescue Boat course in Morro Bay, under the USCG Pier, one of the good skill set stations for technical boat handling skills.

Ben also scored a bunch of groovy surf sessions in the San Francisco Bay area wtih Ray Wolfgramm, and we'll all be meeting in Europe at the end of the month in London. ..then off to Rome, Italy to hook up with Fabio of K38 Italia for the K38 International Rescue Summit...Ciao!

2 days after the K38 course we trained in a pretty good size swell. The USCG brought out their motorlifeboats, we trialed the HERO digital camera that Ross bought, and these are some of the pics...go get one! they're really good for what they are...LOL

The HERO camera is on my left wrist fastened with a velcro strap, I just shot and aimed and got lucky, the camera needs a faraway field, no close up pics will work..now that I know how to angle the lens, and the 1 second delay on the digital, I think I know how to take some better shots.

Thanks to Ross for hooking us up with the camera to trial.

We had a great time riding, we did this 2 days straight in a decent swell after a 3 day class, (not easy), went to Coon and Mouse, nice ride. But nothing like the water on the first day of training, it was just nuts outside! We had it easy...
