Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 25 August, 2008 : - - The surfing world has lost one of its greatest icons this past weekend in the passing of Californian Jeffrey “Midget” Smith. A decorated and long-time competitor, shaper and ASP judge, Smith embodied all that was right in the surfing world and his dedication to the sport in the water, the shaping bay and the judging tower go unparalleled in surfing history.
