One Winter Story was awarded the Caracola de Bronce (Jury Selection Award); Premio Alma (Best Script Award); Premio Academia Olimpica Espanola (Special Spanish Olympic Committee Award).

Meet Sarah Gerhardt & Elizabeth Pepin in Long Beach!: On Tuesday, December 4, 7pm, Sarah Gerhardt & Elizabeth Pepin will be at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach to talk about Maverick’s, One Winter Story, and women’s surfing. Clips of the film will be shown, as well as photos from Maverick’s and other surf spots around the world. You can also pick up your copy of One Winter Story at the same time!

This Thursday, come see new photos by Elizabeth Pepin and other Bay Area surf photographers, and have a few free tacos courtesy of Aqua Surf Shop! Loose Connections is a special exhibition featuring the work of seven photographers united by their art, their friends, and the ocean. Featured artists are Rob Brodman, Scott Eggers, Paul Ferraris, Art Gimbel, Mark Gordon, Dickson A. Keyser, and Elizabeth Pepin.

The opening party for Loose Connections is on Thursday, December 6th, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. Feast on Mexican food from an on-site taco truck while live DJs from the Noe Valley Track Team supply the evening’s soundtrack. Pkirkeby Fine Art & Framing is located at 128 Texas Street at 17th on Potrero Hill in San Francisco.
